ACCEL is a private, non-profit organization serving children and adults with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, behavior disorders and intellectual disabilities through three main programs, Educational Services, Adult Services, and The BISTÅ Clinic.

ACCEL’s Educational Services provide exceptional educational, behavioral, therapeutic and employment programs for individuals who have special needs ages 5 to 22, giving them the necessary skills to learn, to work, and to live successfully with dignity and independence.

ACCEL Adult Services consist of day services with job training and employment programs. We currently serve approximately 90 adults ranging from 18 to 79 years of age, 98% of whom receive Title XIX services for adults with low income. Meaningful opportunities for all clients to participate in and contribute to the community are emphasized.

The BISTÅ Center implements evidence-based practices in ABA Treatment. The BISTÅ Center offers individualized ABA treatment packages based on initial and ongoing assessments. ABA treatment packages include assessments, development of individualized skill acquisition programs, problem behavior identification and reduction, parent and family training consultations, and social groups.
