The Nordoff-Robbins Center for Music Therapy is an outpatient clinic that provides individual and group music therapy for clients in the New York metropolitan area. The Nordoff-Robbins approach draws upon people’s innate creativity; for many individuals, music is the most effective form of therapy because it is one of the few things that deeply reaches them. People with developmental challenges such as autism often benefit greatly from this individualized approach as they create music with their therapists or peers. The Nordoff-Robbins Center is also a research and training center.
